Class Policies

  • Registration and pre-payment is required to save your spot.
  • If you need to withdraw from a class for which you are registered, please give 24 hours notice in order to receive a refund or credit.
  • Materials are available at The Bead Gallery at a 15% discount to class participants. Be sure to mention that the purchases you are making are for a class so we can be sure to give you your discount.
  • Classes will run if there are two or more people enrolled. If you are the only person enrolled in a class, we will offer the class to you as a private lesson at private lesson rates. If you do not wish to take a private lesson, we will issue you a credit or refund.

Classes are divided into #1 classes, which are suitable for any level of beading expertise, including beginner, and #2 classes, which are more suitable for those with some experience. The Bead Gallery staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have about classes.

PMC #1 - Intro to Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

Learn how to create beautiful jewelry components from Precious Metal Clay. PMC contains particles of pure silver, suspended in organic clay. Shape your pieces, then burn off the organic material with creme brulee torch. The components become pure silver. ***Class must have at least three(3) students minimum in order to run*

In just two and a half hours, you will learn to saw, bends, file, solder, anneal, pickle, and polish metal as you create a beautiful sterling silver ring. If after taking the class, you find out that you love working with metal, you can then sign up for the cabochon setting class and further embellish your ring.

Private studio classes are also available. The rates for private lessons are as follows (depending on class prices may vary slightly):

One Hour: $50 Two Hours: $100
